Who You Truly Are

The first thing to do is breathe. Breathe. Breathe deeply.

Your breath is your point of connection with who you truly are. If you are not breathing, breathing deeply,if you are having difficulty breathing, you are not connected to your Source, which is your source for all things.

In those moments, you are in your deepest fear. Breathe through and past the fear and, through your breath, transform the fear into the power to know and the power to act, the power to act and the power to be.

Breathe as though your life depends on it. For, of course, it does. Not merely your third-dimensional physical life, but your multidimensional, meta-physical life, the life that transcends this particular body in this particular moment. Breathe, and let your breath bridge and connect, re-connect, all dimensions, lifetimes and bodies. That truly is the aim and goal of this exercise and experiment in which you are a prime player and participant.

Yes, you are a prime player and prime participant.

There is no “illusion.” Yet there are different realms of reality. Which would you choose to have precedence and be dominant? One that is soul-based, source-based, infinite and transcendent? One that taps easily, effortlessly and openheartedly into the infinite abundance of All That Is? Or one that, fear- and ego-based, crawls into the bottomless hole, the quicksand of lack and limitation? You can choose. You do, in fact, choose...whether it is a conscious choice or not.

So choose. Choose with each breath whether to hold the resonance, despite all, or to tumble down into the abyss of separation.

Do you want to know what Hell is? Hell is separation. You have lived in that hell for millennia. Do you choose to stay there, to tumble deeper into that painful, lonely and meaningless abyss? Or do you choose to reconnect the dots of who you are into a pattern and sacred geometry of oneness that is the empowered, openhearted, soul- and source-based expression of the Heaven that already lies within you...waiting to be acknowledged, yearning to be expressed, longing to be exposed?

What's your choice? What is your choice?

What is your goal, your desire, your dream?

Close your eyes for a moment and breathe. Breathe into your center and breathe into your truth.

What is your soul's imperative?

Let your soul respond, for that is the only true response, the only response in and of truth.

Take a moment and let a half-dozen answers bubble up to consciousness. More if they come. Jot them down and don't let the self-censorship of second-guessing, judgment and fear get in your way. Allow whatever comes to come, however odd or unexpected. Just let the answers emerge — on your breath...from the silence...

Whatever they are, if they rose up from the depths of your soul, they are wondrous expressions of your truth. And all are achievable. It is even possible to be financially successful in their pursuit. But financial success cannot be the factor that determines their viability, their value or your commitment.

They are either viable or they are not.

They either have true value or they do not.

You are either committed or you are not.

It is easy to doubt the utility, power and value of your spiritual/light work when you judge the response to it as insufficient, when its financial success seems to elude you.

Where does that doubt come from? The need for ego-gratification? Or a true uncertainty? The need for some ego-based proof? Or a true questioning?

Do people respond to your words and your work? Of course they do. For it carries the power and truth of your soul. It is your soul in expression. It is the higher, greater, integrated (inte-great-ed) part of you in expression.

Does it have value for you? Of course it does, for the same reasons.

Is this your work to do? If you choose it to be so.

If you choose it to be so, then you also choose to wed yourself to it. Are you prepared to pursue this soul-expression only on sunny days when all is cheerful and bright? Or are you prepared to pursue it at all costs? In sickness and health? For richer and poorer?

What is your commitment?

Does it only have value if it pays you a generous stipend? Or does it have inherent value, regardless of externals?

You choose. But in making the choice, know there are consequences, as there are to all choices.

Choose, to the best of your ability in present circumstances, to hold the resonance of commitment to your spiritual/light work. Hold that resonance, in its unfoldment and development, regardless of the apparent reality that surrounds you. You don't like that reality? Choose another one. It is that simple and that complex.

Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. But pay God first. That God is not some external church. And that payment is not necessarily cash or conventional currency. The God is the highest expression of your highest self, your Divine Self. And the currency is truth. Your truth. Expressed in every moment. Lived through every word and action.

That is what matters. That is all that matters. There is nothing else that matters, for all flows from that.

Do not hold on with childish attachment to any external — be it your current living situation, your current job, your current location..even the current expression of your spiritual/light work. That is not to say that any will change, but that they are not of primary importance.

Hold the resonance of your own truth regardless of any externals that seem to threaten it. "In the past," part of you argues, "I have held on to the truth despite all and have suffered horribly for it. I don't want to do that again."

You need not, and yet you need also to decide how important that truth is to you. Is it so ungrounded or unanchored that the slightest wind of ill effect can knock it flat? Or is the Divine Truth of your Eternal Beingness stronger than that...stronger than anything?

There are no tests, but there are choices. Choose now. Choose truth. Choose it though all about you — people and circumstances — would stand in denial of that.

You did not incarnate to live in palatial splendor, though you may. You incarnated to be the radiant splendor of your truth and your word...despite all.

Your truth is paramount. Spreading it is paramount. Spreading it...whatever that means: That is your imperative. That is your soul's mission in this body at this time.

Experience your truth. Express your truth. Expose your truth. You are here to live these 3Es — experience, express and expose — and to live that come what may.

The 3D reality in which you now dwell part-time ceases to exist for you. That is truth. Don't pin your future on its crumbling, decayed and decadent foundations. Choose the higher frequencies of truth and aloha. Choose them in your life and find the ways to support that. For support it you must. It is the very breath in your lungs. Without it you are as dead, the walking dead.

Go now. Commit to your future and the future of the cosmos by living your 3Es and trusting that in doing so you will be taken care of...as you take measures to take care of yourself.

You do well. Acknowledge that. Remain connected and committed in any and every way, including through writing, if that is your choice. Transform, too, any attachment to any status quo.

Be the love that you are — in all ways — and do not allow the fear that is always ready to rise to the surface to engulf and overwhelm you. Be the power you are and know the transformation you are through your experience and expression of it.

Once again: Experience your truth. Express your truth. Expose your truth.

Live these 3Es with every breath and on every breath. Live them and be them. And let the wondrous truth you are free you to live the heaven on earth that awaits only your acknowledgment of it.
