As I write these words, a mighty thunderstorm rages outside. This desert country, so dry and brittle from drought, is now electric with the energy born of the torrential downpour.

Every day for the past week, the humidity in the air here has carried the promise of rain, a promise that remained unfulfilled until today.

If weather patterns were normal — and what is "normal" these days? — we would be in the midst of monsoon season here in Sedona. Each day would launch itself with brilliant blue skies, sunny and dry. As morning melted into afternoon, moisture would collect in the air, storm clouds would collect in the sky and, somewhere between 3 and 4 p.m., the heavens would rip open in an explosion of sound, light and water.

Instead, the heavens tease us with possibility.

What is normal these days?

A better question, perhaps, is, "What has happened to the status quo?"

It's gone...in your life and mine, just as it's gone in the life of Mother Earth.

There is no "normal" as we have come to know it, for there is no status quo. We are creating a new normal and a new status quo with each breath we breathe and in each moment we breathe it.

There is no past upon which to rely, no "the way things used to be" to use as a crutch.

We are re-creating our reality in every instant — through our thoughts, through our words, through our choices.

We are choosing who we are, how we will live, what we will realize. We are choosing whether there will be rain or drought, war or peace, love or fear. We are choosing whether we will allow the God That We Are to live through us, laugh through us, love through us. We are choosing whether to allow that all-powerful, all-mighty, all-seeing, all-knowing, all-being God That We Are — that you are — to express itself through us.

Who are you? Do you know? Do you know who you are at the deepest God-center of your beingness, at the highest level of your Divinity?

"Oh," I hear you reply, with little or no hesitation, "I am love." It’s a simple answer, but it's complex too. For those can be easy words to speak...not always easy words to live or to live by.

Without a doubt, your purpose in this lifetime, in this body, in this watershed era in which we live, is to be in love and to spread that love-light as far afield as possible.

Yet, even as we are all One, even as we move more fully into conscious awareness and expression of that Oneness, we are unique individuals. As such, we each have particular means and methods of carrying that love into our lives, into the lives of those around us and into the world.

When you operate from a place of joy, when you are passionate about life and are living your passion, you are in sacred service to the Most High within you. For simply being in that state and modeling it for others is the most powerful teaching possible.

What is your passion? What brings you unequaled joy? What would you do, without pay, all day long if you could?

Discover that and you uncover your heart's desire. Live that desire and you are living your Divine Purpose. Live your Divine Purpose and you step more fully into that God Presence that is the ultimate truth of who you are.
Sounds simple? For some of you, it may be. Others, though, are like this monsoon season we have been experiencing: filled with promise but unable to break through the energy of drought that is denying its realization.

Perhaps you don't yet know your passion, or don't believe you have one. Perhaps you know it but have been unable to translate it into a livelihood. Perhaps you know your passion but don't feel it is in spiritual integrity to prosper from it.

Know this: Your birthright is one of joy-filled passion, passion-filled purpose and purpose-filled prosperity. You are worthy. You are worthy. You are worthy.

Cast all doubt aside. All of it. Every last shred and vestige. Let it go. Let it fall back into the past from which it emerged, a past that no longer has any more energy for you than you allow it to have.

There is no reason — none — why you should not, in this moment, be living a life in the full, passionate expression of your God Purpose, in the sacred service of your heart's desire. There is no reason — none — why you should not be prospering mightily, in this moment, in the love-light passion of your God desire.

Not your ego desire. Not the iI want this and I want it now desire of your child self. Not the fear-based, hoarding desire of your small self.

Wherever you are not living in the full realization of your Divine Purpose, look deep within to the source of your resistance. What is your greatest fear? That you will fail? Or that you will succeed? That you won't realize your highest potential? Or that you will?

Find out where the fear resides within you. Befriend those parts of you that carry that fear.

They do not seek to sabotage or disrupt your progress out of malice. They seek only to be loved and to feel safe.

Some days, in the hour or so leading up to a God Activation, I feel fear rising up through my chest and into my throat.

"Are you crazy!!!??" a part of me will scream. "You don't know what you're going to say. You don't know what you're going to do. You don't know whether what you will do is what those present need. Are you sure it even really works...?”

It's easy to submit to that fear, to those panicked voices. It's easy, but it's not a choice we can allow ourselves to make anymore.

In those moments, I turn within and I say to those fearful inner children, "I love you." I tell them that this work isn't theirs to do, so there's no reason to fear it. It's the work of the God That I Am, and that part of me is fully equipped to be, sing, say and do all that the occasion calls for. I promise them that they will be safe, that I will hold them safe.

Then I surrender to the God That I Am, which knows precisely how to proceed, and I step into the work I love.

Yet, even though it's the work that I love, even though it is an expression of my passion, there are deeper levels of that passion I am now being called into. And that, too, triggers the fears of those smaller selves that would resist the next steps.

Our fears, yours and mine, are like the drought that has held back the rains from Northern Arizona. The promise is there. The hint of passion is there. But until we surrender to that passion, until we open all parts of ourselves to the full expression — the unique expression — of our God Vision, we too will remain dry. Either we will remain blind to our God Purpose or we won't let ourselves prosper from it

Open to your passion. Surrender to your joy. Be the God That You Are in its fullest expression out in the world. That is the transformative power you carry today...right now...in this moment. That is the sacred service of your heart's desire — at this time...in your life...in the life of this planet...in the life of the cosmos.

Love all parts of yourself. And love them into the full expression of your Divine Truth and Divine Purpose as the God That You Are. Today. In this moment. In this breath. Now.

It's no accident that I have just completed creating and producing a program to help you open more fully to your God Vision, realize your God Purpose and prosper from it. (It's called Prosper from Your Divine Purpose! A Program for Spiritually Based Financial Success).

It's no coincidence in my life — I am being called to step more fully into the next level of my "God Work" and to do it in such a way that it financially supports me and my family with ease.

It's no coincidence in your life. For the energy of these times demands that you and me and all of us align ourselves fully with our God Work, whatever that is for each of us. For until and unless we do that, we cannot merge our humanity and divinity. Until and unless we do that, we cannot live in joy-filled prosperity in the uncensored exercise and expression of our Divine Purpose.

Divine Purpose is not karmic obligation. It's a joy-filled expression of who we are at source. And our call is to be that Divine Purpose out in the world.
